In Y4 we learned some names for certain foods in 
, and read a story about a hungry monster called Maurice – we then retold our versions of the story, revising days of the week
In Y6 we are still learning to tell the time in French, making lots of links to the work in Maths. Today we learned minutes past the hour. In Y6CC we used Google Hangouts to chat to our eTwinning partners in France – we told them the time here, and asked what time it was there – it is an hour later in France! We also talked about what time school starts (8:45, same as us) and finishes ( 4:30 pm in France!) and the fact that they have 1 1/2 hours for lunch! We then talked about our favourite games – mon jeu favori . We have lots of games in common !
