What a wonderful week! We have had the lovely Madame Le Calvé and Madame Do from École Gambetta Cambrai here for their second visit to Barnsley. This was made possible by Erasmus + funding " class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />

" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> Both French teachers spent their week here working in KS2 classes, teaching a science lesson in Y6, and French lessons in Y4, Y5 & Y6. They told the story of the wolf ( Le loup) who didn’t want to walk any more. They also presented a film of a “mannequin challenge” done by their classes all round their school & the town of Cambrai – we looked at similarities and differences between our schools, and learned a lot about Cambrai’s history and legends. We have already had our new eTwinning projects approved for this year, and are really looking forward to continuing to work together this year
